Abteilung 502 Oils - Fading effect for German Dark Yellow Three Tone Camouflage Schemes

Does anyone know if this is still available or has been re-branded in some way, I can’t seem to find it for UK sale (albeit from a cursory search).

TIA

If you know which colors were included (I have not been able to find that set on a web search), you can check on AK Interactive site if they are still in production individually.

I do see fade dark yellow and faded green in their listing, but nothing for brown…

Oh, I did find it:

ABT 190 Faded Camouflage Maroon

ABT 020 Faded Dark Yellow

ABT 040 Faded Green

These should help

Use Winsor & Newton Naples Yellow. It does the same thing.

Maybe a good shout Matthew - so If I use this, thinned and brushed across all three camouflage colours, it will have the same effect as Abt 155, the German three-tone fading oil?

Yes Roly. You can see below where I’ve used the W&N Naples Yellow to great effect to fade the colors on this 1\35 Type 89 with 4 color camo. Of course, you can differ the oil \ thinner ratio to fade it more or less. This model is still a WIP. I really worked the oil in different ratios on different panels here. I can highly recommend Winsor & Newton Naples Yellow for any 3 color fading effects.
