Looks really good so far.
Looking good.
They were at least there, can’t see any IFOR markings though. I would assume they would have had them too, just like every other vehicle. Second vehicle in below pic is an M981 FIST-V.
I think the second vehicle here is an M981 FIST-V as well.
Looking good.
The Micro Cosmos 3D printed 113 parts are really nice.
Are you going to use their tracks? I just ordered a couple of sets of T130s and Diehl tracks from them.
Man that looks awesome. It’s great to see that kit and you’re really building the snots out of it! Outstanding detailing! Nice solid build!
Thanks guys and Arch that is a yes to their tracks to…already have them assembled just forgot to take pictures…they’re great though good detail and easy assembly!
It looks really nice.
Cheers,
Ralph
Thanks…moved on to priming the small bits and im trying to replicate the velcro on the sides but I think my strips are too thick…let me know what you guys think…
the strips were roughly 2mm wide…does anyone know the right scale width by chance?
The velcro strips look pretty good. I think I would go with only one on the sides though (or maybe the two closer together), and maybe a little higher up.
Tracks look good along with everything else.
What’s nice about those MC 3D printed lights is that they come with colored lenses.
I’m glad there’s another option for the only other decent M113 tracks besides the FROG model T130 tracks that are getting harder to come by.
I think Tamiya makes 1mm tape.
Where do you order the MC3D stuff from?
its from overseas but the prices are still good…i normally buy several things at a time to make the shipping worth it…also they have thrown in a “gift” with every order I’ve purchased from them! things like 1/35 tool sets to spare tracks or antenna bases…website below…
While Gino is basically correct about the velcro, however it was often placed by the vehicle crew, and there is a lot of variation as to its placement.
Also note that the vehicle in the photo Gino posted has the MILES belt mounted in a metal channel that is bolted to the side of the vehicle.
Ken
work continues!
That’s some nice cammo.
I’ll share @18bravo ’s sentiments. Very nicely done with the NATOflage. Nice lines.
Yup, the NATO camo looks great. It is coming along nicely.
Adding one more to the “paintwork looks really good” pile on
Yeah! What Rob, Renier, Gino and Carlos said!
Looks awesome!
I agree, the camo pattern looks very realistic, a very tired hard working wagon.
