I have the DSPIAE alligator clip sticks and the base to hold them. The DSPIAE ones are all metal and much more durable than the ones Robin listed. I use them all the time for painting roadwheels and small parts. They’re very useful. Get the base to hold them, too.

My wife just found these clips and ordered some to hold her WH figure parts - when she told me of her discovery I fell about laughing because of this thread! Personally I still wear by the Mk 1 scrap 1”x2” stick and Mk 2 masking tape solution…

Seems I recall having a clip like that stuck in the handle of an old safety razor back during my Southeast Asia time. Danged if I can recall what I used it for! Ha Ha Wayne
