Thank you!

Okay third time is a charm and still so much to learn. Putting the photos from another build of mine here just to keep them in one place.

Mounted all the control surfaces to match stick forward and to starboard, flaps down with right rudder while parked.

Cockpit highlights include the camera control on the floor to the right of the control column. This is marked as number 37 per cockpit reference from Colin Ford.

I could not make room for my 1/48 scale resin TR9D radio to match the exact configuration shown in this photo. Seemed a more realistic mount to turn the radio 90 degrees and move it aft instead of cutting up a fuselage frame. I get the impression the radio and camera bay evolved quickly and varied to fit the operational need at Sawbridgeworth as the Mustangs started flying there. Reading stories of changing out the radio for every mission based on air or ground comms required.

Really like the look of the seat with the Sutton harness.

Thank you for looking and the kind remarks! I really appreciate your sponsorship of the Mustang campaign as I am learning a lot from the sharing

Thinking about weathering. Perhaps light weathering. I want to be realistic for a plane that only saw a few months of service before being written off in a crash landing per this report…

Wing root chipping was common. Used a rattle can silver paint at the port wing to fuselage root after priming. Next was a moderate hairspray for that chipping method only at the same port root. After airbrushing the camo pattern a small dot of water and a toothpick made for very controllable chipping easy to match actual photos. I am happy with the result.

Great looking! Wish Tamiya would do one on 32nd.

Thank you! Yes 1/32 scale would be fun. I had seen this pre release years ago.

Sounds like a copy of the AM kit.

Yes. Seems like one of the reviews implied that AM worked with them to move from 1/48 scale to 1/32nd, but I do not know. That is not confirmed. Still hoping someone invests in producing a large version in plastic!
