I’m excited about this release, but if I buy one, that means I’m scratchbuilding an M901 ITV turret with interior for it. That would be a very long term project…

In anticipation of this kit’s release, I had preordered the figures by Jason Studio and they arrived yesterday. Now I am just waiting for the M113 to release and arrive.

Makes me wonder if/when a T50 turret, rear hatch ventilator set will be released?

In case it is unclear, these are not accessories and figures being produced by AHHQ. The four figures and the accessory set are produced by Jason Studios. The figures have already been released (just got them this week from Hong Kong) and the accessory set is to be released in early December.

Got mine as well over the weekend. Looking forward to building it. I saw that he has another kit announcement coming in the beginning of the year, hoping it’s a Sheridan to keep with the Vietnam theme.

Not to say he cannot have something else in the works since this one has been in the works for a while but in his video with MBK about 48 min mark.
He stated it was to be US WW2 kit.

So I see FC Model Trends of Spain - 1/16 Scale - FCModeltrend - has a bunch of 1/16th 3DP bits & pieces - some rather large - for the M113.
Including a T50 turret, Saladin FSV, Fitters Vehicle HIAB etc. See an issue with the T50 - front left corner between vision blocks should be flat plate, not a corner.
Has anyone tried them yet?
Also BNA models has the 1/16th 105 Pack Howitzer in Resin ( WIP3D, 105/14, mod 56) - in case you feel the need to stuff one in the back of your M113 a la ANZAC’s VN

Opinions on the FC modeltrend stuff has been decidedly mixed , some seem satisfied with it while others question why they most often show only the CAD images of their kits.

I did notice some of their items only had a cover pic, while others had photos of various parts, though I wondered if that was because they were so new?

FC Modeltrend - I wouldn’t put that crap on my model if you gave it to me for free. There’s a reason there are no photos of the actual items - you can see how badly they’re printed from a distance. They prey on the unadvised first time buyer, because there are no second time buyers. Stay far away from this company, the only place their products belong is in the bin!

I’ve heard nothing good about this company, but I did order a set of ww2 US antenna bases that have not arrived yet. I ordered another set from MiG as a back up. Yikes!

I ordered about $200 of stuff, over a dozen items, and when I got them I nearly cried. All of it looked like it was printed from sand, and all were misshapen. Nothing was saveable. It all went straight in the bin. I don’t even know how these guys are still in business.

First time sales, AK distribution and occasional their items are good.
For instance I ordered M29 weasel tracks and bogies for the Takom kit. 1/2 the headache solved with the kit and I like those FC prints. Most of the other stuff, I wait to see if people post photos or can see first hand at a show before buying.
