I was there recently for the second time.
What is it you need?
Interior photos of the LK-II tank’s engine and engine bay. Not a too popular subject to take photos of ![]()
I myself do not have any pictures of that specific tank, but here are some links that should help you:
I don’t know how far @Uncle-Heavy is from there?
95 to 100 km,
the problem is finding the time to go there
150km for me, so no “just quick in and out” either.
Thanks! I have seen the landships site but this Russian site is new to me. There are some great details. What I have no idea about is how the engine sit on the chassis. All the pictures are taken from the left side - I wonder how the right side looks. There is no picture online of the Daimler M1910 engine used in the LK-II.
Luckily this Russian site shows the underside of the tank. That was something I needed. My other wish is seeing into this part. I’d like to see how it looks inside.
I have the MR Modellbau kit. Well… it has so many flaws… While trying to correct them I have decided to thin the walls and open of the doors to show the inside. That’s why I need photos of these nooks and crannies.
RonW, Uncle-Heavy or anyone - no rush at all. I am working on this project for like 2 years and now all my time and energy goes for the third newborn kid. Just hoping to have the photos once I have some rest ![]()
The right side is against a wall, so I think, there are not many pictures. I was there 2017 and at this time it was open -pm me and send me your mail. I have about 6 / 7 pictures
