Here I show the construction of a model of the BAT-1. This is a construction from the Trumpeter AT-T vehicle. This is a very well-fitting set, but there are also many sets with ERRORS. The construction took place several years ago, but I think it can be shown here. Here are the first photos of the model, which are intended to show the construction progress. Here are the first photos of how the construction began.
I look forward to an interesting discussion.
Here is a picture of the original vehicle BAT-1
The kit and the start of construction of the model
Construction continued after the chassis was completed. Chains from the Friul company were used.We continue with the deck and the cabin. Then the engine and the cable winch are installed.
Here are pictures of the original vehicle BAT-1, which I drove and repaired for 15 years. It was a very good and reliable chain vehicle based on the t-54 tank. This also clarifies the question with the color.
The cabin
The documentation of the construction of the model continues, I come to install the engine, gearbox, cooler and winch. Many other parts, such as pressure boilers of the compressed air system, fuel tanks with lines and other accessories were also installed. It was very time -consuming to produce these parts. Now the associated pictures of the model.
Hallo BootsDMS,what do you understand by the term IRBMs?
We continue with the installation of the cable winch. There are also photos and original images. Unfortunately, none of this is included in the kit, you have to build everything yourself.
I’m referring to the Intermediate Range Ballistic Missiles which I seem to recall these tractors towed on occasion, not least on the May Day parades and the like, back in the 60s. I appreciate I may be confusing the equipments.
