Best Tank That Never Was - Part 5!

Added the fenders. Still have some things to add to the fenders then I can mask the periscopes and then prime the hull.

then when the wife gets home I can work on the other track. I won’t work on it with a toddler running around the house. They’re worse than the carpet monster

This is great! I have some E-series as well or maybe something allied or the japanese I-O.

We’re in danger of having more E’s than a 90’s rave party!

Painted the hull the Light Sand Gray, paints a little wet so it looks yellow.

Worked on the turret some too.

Sunday I hope to work on the other track.

Turret is done for now, just waiting on the AS-179 antennas from Defmodel to arrive.

Not liking how the camo masking looks.

but tracks are done.

Will the brown overspray get hidden by the other two colours, or do you need to touch up the tan areas first?

I touched it up with the light tan, some areas will get the yellow and black

Love it - what a difference painting can make - brings it all to life I feel. Well done.

Antennas added!

I painted them forest green as I figured the probably pulled them out of the box and put them on and didn’t bother to paint them.

next is glosscoat, decals and weathering.

Wow you work fast! I’d take ages to achieve paintwork like that.

That’s quite a beast; good work though. A veritable monster. If it had worked as promised, I mean, if I was flying Hinds I’d put in for a transfer.

Sadly it worked best against review stands full of Army brass…
