Hooray !!!
That so made me laugh!
This thread has started something for me anyway, as I am now looking seriously at motorbikes (in kit form obvs)!
I wish you a good recovery. I am biker as well with twenty years of experience and one crash caused by car driver and a few caused by myself, fortunately without any injuries mostly because I allways wear protecting gear.
Best regards
Thanks Igor, the recovery is well on the way now … and riding in proper safe gear is a must in my opinion for any biker … Safe riding mate
Is that a yoga mat rolled up on the back ?
This is how a pristine looking Triumph Sprint ST1050 looks after a 45 mph T bone into a side of a car …
And no … It will never buff out … Before someone says it lol …
It’s now gone to the insurance assessor… I can save them the trouble …it’s a write off
Ugly - but glad you are still here to talk about it.
Are you able to get back to model building yet ?
A sad sight indeed.
At least the rider isn’t a write off …
Doesn’t really look that bad Johnny
Yeah thankfully back at it now… Just waiting for the bone to fully heal… Still about 10 % to go
Frame could be bent so that the front fork is more vertical than it should be.
Front fork is bent
Should look like this:
Not like this:
All depends on the headstock - forks , trees , front wheel , rotors and calipers , instrumentation are now junk …
And a lot more lol…
So if you put it up for sale John be sure to say it has “ patina “ …
