Mate, I think Thunderbirds are go!
Leaning pretty hard into the Lanc. But I have a couple of projects to finish first so who knows where I’ll be by then!
Good choice by you, BTW. Shocked that you’re doing it Argentinian (not). Looking forward to it.

Quick no-pic update.
I forgot that I had a couple sets of WWII Russian tank troops. So, I’ve ordered two of the PanzerArt KV-1/2 hatches (nice detail!) so they can be open and at least two, maybe three, tankers will be on it.
(I need to quit looking a pictures of KV-2’s!)
Mike
Nice choice, Jose. I have quite a few Argentine Skyhawks planned in 1/48 scale.
What are you using for ordnance? I believe Argentina used different bombs from unusual manufacturers? I do not think usual US weapons will be historically correct?
Good question as I want to do one myself at some point. I know that they did use British made thousand pounders (the new Airfix A-4 has a single to mount on the centreline). Could have used Spanish or possibly French sourced too?
Yes, and I think there were some locally manufactured as well.
Freightdog have done a good set for the Argentine Skyhawk.
US M65 with British tailfins and Expal 250 bombs. Pity it’s out of stock.
Next in the cue while i start cleaning and assembling the hull
Print set 3 Runnning gear
Print Set 4 Main Gun
Print Set 5 Turret armor
First time. I’ve started adding the texture to the turret.
Surprisingly, it’s very simple to do. ![]()
Mike
More greener!!
Texture looks a lot better on this side. I’ll be sanding down the other side later, after the paint dries.
Mike
Ooooh YES!
Maybe the top turret could be air defence?
that looks so awesome! I cannot imagine the stress on the suspension
I want all the turrets to turn independently so it can fire at three targets at once.
Oh. And I want a guy sticking out of the very tippy top hatch, but his head is the pumpkin head sitting in the background.
And he is saying, “MWAH HAHAHAHAHAH!”
