New guy, been watching A LOT of great modeling you tube video. Most British, and I love the different slang. I told the wife I had to pick up some “cotton buds” and she was amused. The latest I heard that made me smile was “I’ll be back in a tick, and Bobs your uncle”
I cannot wait to use that in the USA; being a bit eccentric!
So, my question is where should a “new guy” post pics? Definitely not to the skill level of all here. I mentioned in a post that I wouldnt post pics for awhile, and a wise gentleman replied “How do you expect to get better without constructive criticism” or something, and he was correct!
I am giving my first shot at interior weathering tonight. where would one post that without being an annoying PITA? On your profile…in general discussion…or in the Genre…thanks all!

Of course you should post pics of your work, regardless of your level or skills!
As said, it is the best way to improve, and also others can learn from you.

As has been said post your photos, others can then advise you in ways you could improve. Where to post? depends on your subject matter, Armour in Armorama, Aircraft in Aeroscale, Car/Bike/civilian trucks in Automodeler etc
Most of the forums have a sub forum for painting or constructive feed back, that’s the best place to post for that sort of advise.

Posting pics all depends. If you are building a model for an active campaign, then you can post them in the campaign thread. If not, you can start a new thread of your build in the general AFV forum, and give it a catchy title such as “my build of [model X]” so we know what it’s about. Looking forward to your pics!
(I did some interior painting the other day, but my wife made me wash down the walls of the hobby room afterwards…)
