While waiting for the paint on the Engine and Transmission to dry, I did a little more assembly. I know I hop around a lot, this is to allow me to make best use of my time. I may not have a lot of it left.
Any way here’s some more.
Question, Does anyone know if the Vanes in Pic.28 are supposed
to be angled and if so in which direction Front or Back ?

Some of the interior painting is done.
I don’t expect to see much of the interior, but I did this as an experiment to see what can be seen.
When they get the Nashorn Kit out, I’ll know whether to bother with the interior or just ignore it.

well that basically covers the assembly and install of the Engine and accessories.
I am doing this so all can see just what is visible and decide for themselves if they want to bother with these assemblies.
I’ll make my final comment after I get the Front Plates installed and Gun Platform added.

The Zoukei-Mura Go 229 kit does something similar to the idler adjusters in the Hummel kit – when you’re assembling the Jumo 004 engines, you thread the compressor rotors onto a central shaft, then put the halves of the stator disks into the halves of the compressor stage casing before you sandwich them around the compressor rotors, then there’s another stator in front and the turbine rotor in the rear, so all the work you do assembling the compressor stage disappears inside the engine, and you never see it again. Only we will know that it’s there after we’re finished.

This kit is really getting to be a pain in the Back Sides.
Hull has all kinds of warps and twists, and the Instructions really suck.
