Now for those damed pe. Clamps
First I temporaily placed the Fenders to get the correct placemrnt of the front suports for the fenders. This way everything is where it’s supose to be.

You should shorten the suport pins slightly and enlarge the mounting holes in the fenders.

Next the rest of the Fender luggage

Okay,it looked so wrong to me,I did’nt know that this version is that different.Well done so far

Donald, I enjoy your builds but seldom comment as 1/16 armor is totally new to me.

Really like how the S hook and clamp looks. Sweet looking build!

Unfortunatly the Hooks are going to be under the Jack Block so you can’t see much of them.

I am really enjoying this build.

Has anyone here built this and the the Das Werk 1/16 Pz III?
I wonder if there is much difference between the two and how they size up to one another.
I have the DW version, prob will buy this one too.

Thanks for sharing

I have the DW it doesnt seem to have the glaring errors the Trumpeter produced version does. After getting both DW & Heller(Trumpeter) Stugs I thought the DW better in most respects. The wheels being the bad point (lack of tyre detail & Profle and the tracks arent as good as Trumpeters.

Hope this helps some.

Donald is doing a cracking job and flying along. Great to see.

(Note ) You should fill the 4 small holes in the edges they are for the M version

Now to paint it all.

Working on the Track.
Panzer III J #56
The small pin on the Guide goes in the spot on the thin edge , not where the cleat is.
Panzer III J #57
I made various sized jigs to hold the track while assembling it , just a couple of lengths of square tubing soldered together works good.
I just join the track shoes together on the jig , drill the hole , a #60 drill works just right size.
Panzer III J #58
Slide in the pin
Panzer III J #59
I work in sections of 10 links , then join them together for the total Track Run
91 links each side.
Continuing on.

Do you use the tracks from the kit or is it a after market product?

They are from the kit,
Donald

I have them assembled and painted .
I’ll weather and install them later.

I assembled the Gun and installed it in the Turret I didn’t do any detailing on it as it can’t be seen.

I just glued the hatches closed since there’s on interior detail.

How many models you build at the same time?I can only concentrate on one at the same time

The one you see above is under construction right now , The pazver IV Ausf. is a REDUX or in other words Re-post of a build fron a few years ago.
I had my builds posted here before but they were linked to the Cloud.
I thought I lost them all.
I managed to recover most of them , and with this website’s posting method I can repost them right from my computer.
I probably should label them Re-post i think a lot of you don’t know what REDUX means.

Donald

I understand that, you’ve repostet your older building-reports.I was just interested,if you build more then one model at the same time
