Didn’t want to junk up Donald’s thread with more. :face_with_monocle:

Like I plan to add James Lee’s 0.3 cal with his Marine fuel cans and might make some snow chains for a Marine jeep in the Pacific either on the wheels or thrown in the back. A rope around the bumper might be in my build.

Would the Jeep be about the same size as a 1/35 tank in this scale ?

Yes, you can see the jeep frame next to the Tamiya M26 Pershing.

That looks pretty nice. The details are really good.

Very detailed… Do the leaf springs have all the detailing ? In the pics they look a bit less detailed but might be the lighting ?

Edit. I just checked the initial pics and you can see the detail on them :+1:

That’s an amazingly detailed flathead four. It even generator detailed with its cooling fan behind the pulley. Looks like it fires 1-4-3-2.

Way cool.

Hold up there, Donald! Hope I catch you before you go too far. The spark plug wires go through the hole in the air supply support. Here’s a reference

@BUTA46

Is this your restoration?

I dig the making tape over the generator brush access port to keep debris out.

There’s nothing like trying to fish a 10-24 machine screw out of a generator. :grin:

Oh, don’t I wish! This particular GPW belongs to Dr Chrystal Hall and was restored by her and her dad. It scored quite well a few years back at the Nationals for the MVPA. Joe does restorations of Jeeps and WC Dodges as a profession. A great source of knowledge and pictures for me. Most of my stash is destined to recreate stuff in his garage or out back. His G-506 is likely to be my subject for the Convoy campaign.
