I’m very old and very Tired, I find it very hard to concentrate on doing this. Who knows maby after a long rest I may be back. I’m keeping my options open.

Maybe an M113 might lure you back to the bench? If not its been a pleasure and education following your builds Donald

I have it ordered, just waiting for Andy to ship it.
This Tiger took a lot out of me, especially with that Dammedd Track, the instructions and to top it off the spare track holders. It;s only my Wife that kept it from flying down the basement stairs.
I AM NOT BUYING ANYTHING AGAIN FROM TRUMPETER . This kit cost me $416 plus the extra Resin Printed parts.

Donald, I enjoyed following your Tiger build. The completed model looks fantastic.
I will miss you & your builds. They are among my favorite threads to follow as 1/16 AFV’s are a fascinating looking into large scale model building. If after a restful break, I’ll happily subscribe to anynew build you choose to share.
Cheers
I’m resting, I will probably be back in a while. My Wife says it keeps me out of trouble.
I almost got in a big spot tonight. I was tinkering with a kit and trying some pieces together.
I had the Clothespin clamps that I used on the tiger tracks trying different ways to use them whenit all went to hell and one went flying hitting me just above my right eye. A fraction of an inch could have took my Eye. I guess I was really lucky. I just have a hard time concentrating, I’ll just have to slow down some.

Donald, thank you for all that you have shown us here.
“He built it so that you don’t have to.”

Otto Carius said that when they went into battle, they would carry every last bit of ammo that they could cram into the vehicle. He was speaking specifically about shells, but I feel safe in saying he probably crammed MG ammo in to.
Nice job.
You know you will though (and you want it… )
I will put in my 2 cents and say how much I enjoyed following this build.
Just to be clear, I enjoyed the MODEL. Sorry to hear it caused such grief. I don’t blame you - you are right to stop if it causes frustration, but I wanted to thank you anyway for posting this!
I had such high hopes for this build, like about $600 worth of hopes.
Anyone contemplating doing one , Just one word, (DON’T) it is not worth it.
I think that it is a safe bet that Andy & TAKOM will eventually have one out’
I’ve rested some and started a new build the Das-Werk Sd.kfz, 251/22 Pakwagen.
This looks like fun, I already did the 251/1 it’s posted there.

Donald
Yes Andy mentioned on a video with MBKs owner Crishtian that they are going to re-pop the original at least. (Video was on the up and coming M113 and is on this site somewhere.
I’ll follow along the Pakwagen build as thats on my list of wants.
