I would try removing one track link.
Ken
Can’t they are super glued in.
Donald
The Exhaust is installed.
I tried to remove 1 link on each side, it wasn’t easy but I managed by cutting the links to be removed where the pin is inserted. It worked and here’s howit looks now.
I think it looks a lot better and has a little sag instead of just lying on the tops of the Wheels.

Donald
That’s excellent work you have done on this kit.
Cheers,
Ralph
I started working on the parts that go on top. I glued the Radio and a few other parts to the top plate. I used a glue from Testors that I had laying around, it 's not suposed to craze the clear parts. I’m clamping it over night the glue takes a while to set up.
I’m finishing the tools while they are on the Sprue.
There aren’t any markings for the Fire Extinguishers in the kit. I used some from the DasWerk 251/22 kit. They give you 2 different types there.
Finished for now.
Donald
I guess all the extinguishers the Chinese have are copies without the markings, because they don’t include those in the smaller kits either. Trying to think of a Chinese company that included those but none spring to mind at the moment, but I am on a 2-day break and took advantage of that to change today’s drink schedule and may not have all data at-hand currently.
Interesting that guys that “know” aren’t contacted at the onset. Sure would make a great kit, and would endear Trumpeter to a great many modelers who indeed do know; and the regular modelers, even if they don’t know how bad the current one is. AND, not to mention, most of it won’t be seen. But after all, “we know its in there!”
I finished the interior of the Hull and installed the Clear top Plate.
I masked off the Weld Bead on the top plate and painted it to match the Hull.
Now to add all the small parts that go on top.

Donald
That looks really cool Donald.
Just wait until I get the Turret finished
Regards
Donald
I have just finished installing the tools and cables to the top.
Starting work on the Turret next.

Donald
Looks good, but does it really(?) look ok, rather than just a gimmick (here in real life) to which the picture cannot really apply?
Most impressive!
Very eye-catching!
No it isn’t meant to look real , more educational to show approximately what the real one looks like and where everything is without having to climb into a real one.
Donald
Some work on the Turret.
I had to remove some of the Zimmerit, the Stowage Box wouldn’t fit. Not a real big problem.
I’m doing the Turret Basket in two sections to ease painting.
That’s all for today
Donald
I almost ruined this build, wasn’t paying close enough attention and put the Mantlet on upside down. Luckily the glue wasn’t set and I could correct it.
First the Muzzle Breaks, here are the Kit part and the one from AFV Model.
They are pretty similar
If you use the AFV Model part you will need to shorten the end of the Barrel slightly.
I installed the Gun Barrel from the Back
Now to paint it and install it on the Turret.
Regards
Donald
I have the Gun and Stowage Box installed.
The small parts for the Turret Roof.
Finished for today.
Donald
Well today is when I put an end to this.
I used 3 C clamps to hold the Clear Top down while the glue set.
When trying to install the Spare Track to the Turret sides I had a huge problem. When making the top they put the mounting spots for the upper Track holders in the wrong spots . If you used these spots the Spare Track would be angled. Pic. shows how off they are.
with Zimmerit on the Turret the Track is too thick to fit, even shaving off the Cleats isn’t enough.
The Top parts hang down at an angle.
I decided to just move the top mounts to kind of line up, and left the Track off.
I have had quite enough of this POS kit, I was going to build the Engine separately, but now it is just more TRASH.
This is the closest that I have TEST FLYING a kit down the basement stairs,
My wife said that I would have to clean it up if I did.
I highly DO NOT RECOMEND THIS KIT.
If you need a Late Tiger , Get the Takom Early and the Resin printed update parts, or just wait until Takom releases one.
This was going to be my FINAL BUILD, and I wanted it to be special, in a way it was just in the wrong direction.
SO I SAY GOODBY AND HAPPIER MODELING
Regards
Donald
This really turned out looking wonderful Donald. It’s too bad the kit gave you so many problems. You’ve built so many 1/16 kits, I trust your judgement when you say this is a bad kit.
I’m sad to see you go, you and your epic builds will be missed here. I hope that you find another pleasing activity to fill your time. Take care.
