Great looking vehicle! The figure looks a bit pale, but that is nothing new for a Russian soldier, if I look at the pics…
How did it fare in the competition?

Thanks, John and Erwin!

I’m glad I finished it, it waited for more than a year in my Hall of Shame…

No award for the Tigr-M, but I brought home a Gold and a Silver with other participating models

Cheers,
Angel

My Ukrainian diorama in 1/72, I’ve posted it in the diorama category but Johnny told me it would be a good idea to post it here.

Almost done with this Meng hand-me-down T-90A.

Throw some brown wash and hand paint a couple of “Z” icons on the sides. My only grip is that the top shield over the main gun sight unit was missing from the kit, don’t know how I’ll build it, but I’ll do my best.

SKIF 1/35 D-30 122mm Howitzer. I built this one some time ago and it had remained unfinished for a while until last year I decided to complete as a Ukrainian Army tribute. There have been quite a few reference pictures of the D-30 since the Russian invasion. Although the paint finish is a bit speculative, I have seen one or two pics where this pixel type camo appears to have been used. I made the badge at a local art fair!

I displayed it a few times at the Tank Museum last year, and have only just realised that I have omitted to place the “spikes” through each end of the three trails. Might need to fix that!

Nice build Chris. Is the Italeri kit ok or did it have issues ?

there were a couple of fit issues but nothing major…mainly just soft or missing details but its somewhat decent out of the box. the main things i wanted to upgrade were the barrel and the tracks. once i started buying extras though it got a little outta hand from there lol. extras includded are as follows…
Voyager metal barrel
Eduard PE set
Ricch tracks
Microcosmos jerry cans and commanders periscope
MJ miniatures footman loops
VMS anti slip
academy/voyager/eduard for the .50 cal
plus some scratch building

That M109A6 Paladin looks great. Excellent job on the old Italeri dog. I have an old one and a bunch of AM for it and was thinking of making it a Ukrainian Paladin too.
