Burnin' Coal Campaign

Question I know HMS dreadnought was coal and oil-fired would it count for this campaign? New to ship modeling and have always wanted to build a model of her.

I would think so, she was primarily coal-fired, the oil sprayers were just to enhance the coal burn. IIRC, Royal Navy dreadnoughts didn’t go to all-oil firing before the Queen Elizabeth class from 1913.

Agreed.

Also, if a ship started as a coal burning ship and converted to oil later in her career, she should be depicted in her coal burning phase.

I need to get back to this campaign…

Anyone still working on anything for this? I had great aspirations, but I got this job…

So I’m not going to be able to do anything for this. Hadn’t seen anything posted in awhile, so thought I’d ask.

yes I have one to do

Yes, I started on my entry, but been focus on the Tin Can campaign. Plan on stepping up the work now I am in the finishing stage of the build.
