I have several good ideas for campaigns I would like to suggest but would like to have a co group leader to help setting it up and also with creating the award. Basically I guess someone to run it. I would make the rules and manage it. I am not very good with computer stuff so if anyone would be able to partner up the help would be appreciated.
I might put it out there, but I don’t think I know enough about the Spanish Civil War to run it. I really must read up on it but my reading list is already quite large at the moment.
The only campaign I’ve given any thoughts to running next is a Star Trek 60 build.
The “Your Figure Keeps Improving” campaign has ended in August and I replied asking if anyone has created a ribbon and if the ribbons were awarded yet. No one has replied. May anyone look into it? Thanks.
I wasn’t in that campaign but I agree all campaigns should have ribbons. That is why I had suggested that we have someone, could be multiple, dedicated to creating ribbons for all build offs. If the person/persons running the specific campaigns are able to do it themselves, fine, otherwise I feel there should be some assistance.
Hi matt, sorry for taking so long for the reply. yes i would appreciate that, i have at least 3 ideas for campaigns but am intimidated about the process of suggesting and starting them. plus as i stated here to me it is mandatory to have an award issued for the completion of the campaign.
So how do i go about putting my campaign out there? in the staging area?
If you don’t want to post here, IM me your start and end dates, campaign title and rules for the campaign. I will post it in the Staging Area for you.
I’ve notice that the ribbon creation and awarding has been slow of late for some completed campaigns, but it’s not a Big Deal considering this is just a hobby. The concern is that it’s forgotten and never addressed in the future as people move on with their lives and builds.
I realize that we’re all busy with life and other things; however, having a few Campaign Admins monitor the campaigns, ribbons, ribbon awarding, and protocols in a timely manner will help.
