Circle cutter needed

I know I saw it on here for the tools but I’m looking for a circle cutter to make stencils to paint road wheels. Does any body have a suggestion?

Spray the road wheel rubber. Lay the top template on top of the road wheel at the correct circle size and spray the base color. Clean the template as needed.

There is also this.

That’s what i generally use for painting roadwheels, but i use it as the template itself.

Same. Once I select the diameter needed I tape off the surrounding unused circles. Helps prevent any overspray and I don’t forget which one I selected.

Somebody posted a set to cut out the circles and the holder was round and they got it off Amazon I just want to get a better look at it but cannot find the post.

This punch?

I think it’s better for making plastic circles vs masking circles but I could be wrong.

Yes thank you I’m a tool hoarder and wanted to check it out. Maybe use it to cut masks for the center of things.

I understand, I have thought about getting that tool also. I think tape might be too thin and soft to work well. Might work better with tape on thin plastic strip. Just a thought.

£1 from Poundland funnily enough, had it for years and as others have said it’s simplicity itself. Not been cleaned since it’s last use.

Mike, this has worked well for me: XOOL Belt Hole Puncher for Leather, Precision Multi-Size Leather Hole Punch for Watch Bands, Straps, Collars, Saddles, Shoes, Fabric, DIY Home, Craft Projects Amazon.com: XOOL Belt Hole Puncher for Leather, Precision Multi-Size Leather Hole Punch for Watch Bands, Straps, Collars, Saddles, Shoes, Fabric, DIY Home, Craft Projects : Tools & Home Improvement

Dspiae circular cutter was the worst, useless tool purchase for me ever.

I have the drafting circle templates, used rarely as i prefer to use masks.
I have the yellow/black thing, not used as it doesn’t cut true circles in the smaller 1/48th & 1/35th truck wheel sizes i need.
I also have the Dispae, which does cut true [repeatable by 20 times ] circles, ONCE you have got used to use it properly (key is to use the height adjust for materiels used) BUT it is so fiddly to get the correct size in the first place, as the measure guide on it doesn’t relate to diameter or circumference

I’ll tell you what will cut a PERFECT circle or the most accurate stencil every time repeatedly but the most expensive options.

FDM 3D printer - no toxic resin.

Or Cricut Maker 3 - your significant other can also enjoy doing crafts.

I have both and they’re GREAT!

Those templates work very well. That’s why companies like Meng include a brass circle template in some of their kits.
As for as punches circles, If there’s one thing I do well, it’s punching circles. I have Micro Mark sets, a few intermediate sizes from Harbor Freight, and some large two piece punches that’ll make perfect circles in sheet metal. I think my largest one is over 1 1/2 inches, but I’m not going to dit it out. Good for knocking out holes in your hood for hood pins, or dfferent motorcycle apllications like this:

No drifting drill bits, marring of chrome…
