Cutting brass sheets (former PE sprues)

Hey there. I guess I should probably keep all the PE sprues, since the brass can probably be reused to create my own details on future modeling projects.

My question is: what tool(s) should I use to cut my own pieces out of a PE brass sheet? My sense is that an #11 blade is not the right way!

I use kitchen shears most of the time. I use an older worn #11 blade for scribing the fold lines. I’ve posted a few different times on here how I do it, with photos.

You can also use various punch sets to get disc shapes, or to punch circles into your pieces.
