Shovel snow or hit the modeling desk ??

Getting pounded by a blizzard at the moment here in NY and the Northeast USA. Actually started last night at about 8. Supposed to stop around the same time tonight. Already have a foot of snow on the ground. Ugh……,

The snow can wait, no point in shoveling while it’s still coming down!

That’s true although I did go out with the snowblower just to get the first half a foot cleared. (Actually I tried to clear some off the grass for the dog to do his business lol. First snow storm for him; it was already up to his neck). My two boys will be out there sometime tonight or tomorrow morning helping me to clear the rest.

Bench….why is this a question. You already created some workers to do the work for you. :joy:

Yeah this should have been a no brainer. I think my brain is frozen

Wait for the wind to die down. That’s what I’m doing in north Nassau county. Drifts keep changing. I’ve got areas with a foot and others showing bare ground. The news people will be focusing on the drifts.

I broke my blower clearing out the last blizzard a couple weeks ago… another foot supposed to be coming this week…

Go sniff some glue.

Who in their right mind would want to model when such an opportunity arises to shovel snow? How often does a chance like this come about!! Best be grabbin that shovel and hitting the sidewalk! Opportunity awaits!! Go big or go home!

One thing I have noticed is that no matter the intensity of the snow fall, still shots from a cameras will not convey the snowfall that is you see happening. A few small white spots in the picture and that is it, where as it is actually snowing like crazy.

I’m going out soon and crank up the snow blower. It’s all powder now. Tomorrow the sun is gonna make it heavier. I’m to impatient to wait until this evening.

That’s what I’m worried about. Right now it’s powdery and fairly easy to move.

I’ve always liked shoveling snow, even the heavy stuff when I lived back East. Nice thing about the light powder out here in Colorado, it’s so easy to just shove it out of the way… until my shovel hits that dang crack in the cement! :confounded: :snowflake:

We’ve got nearly 2 feet here in Connecticut, same blizzard. That was a big one! My son plows us out, so I can enjoy my bench, hot chocolate, and the view out the window today.

Just got back in. Sprayed the chute and blades with Armorall to prevent clogging. Worked pretty well!
I got nowhere I need to be but it’s done. Now I need more gas for the next time.
