Dragon 1/35 M1A2 SEP V3 #3552

Dear All!

In Dragon Models catalog from 2020 it is announced that they will release the SEP v3 (or what ever its called now :upside_down_face: ) with trophy. Any news on this or when it might hit the market? Google didn´t find anything…

Thanks!

Regards Freddy

Dear All! Trying to blow some life in to this again. The same picture of a potential M1A3 or a M1A2 SEP V3 with TUSK or a something-Abrams is shown in Dragon Models catalog updated 2021 (available on http://www.dragon-models.com/CATALOG_2021/2021%20Dragon%20Catalogue.pdf )

Any news or rumors about a M1A3 being planned by any brand?

Thanks! regards Freddy

They’rey still producing the Premium Edition kits?

I don’t think the M1A3 has been nailed down by the US Army in 1:1 and probably won’t be for years to come so long as the M1A1 and M1A2 remain viable and up to date.

Dragon is showing an M1A3 with TROPHY anti-missile system, but there is no such tank. I am guessing they mean an M1A2 SEP v3, which is the latest version. No idea on when it is coming from Dragon (or anyone else) though.

The M1A2 SEP v3, has already begun fielding. 1CAV at Ft Hood, TX got them last year. 3ID at Ft Stewart, GA just started getting them this month. Here is a recent post on them.

Lee is right though, the next-gen M1A3 is still in the “what do we want” stage and nowhere near even putting out bids for prototypes. It is years and years off before we see anything on it.

US Army will look closely what´s happening in Ukraine and learn lessons?

Maybe, maybe not!
