I remember, years ago, seeing video of the Four Horsemen, an unofficial Air Force precision flying team that flew C-130s:
The video I saw had them doing some maneuvers that clearly violated normal flightops, like taking off with two engines feathered, pulling up into a stall, then unfeathering the other two engines and continuing the climb. The connection to the carrier landing post above was another maneuver, where the planes would come in just above stall with everything down, then just before the wheels touched, the pilots would reverse the incidence on the propellors, essentially turning them into four giant air brakes; the planes would come to a stop in, IIRC, less than 200 feet.
