Michal this is beautifully done! Appropriate weathering for the time this big sod was deployed. Lovely use of colour and really nicely set up. It is screaming out for a diorama setting though!

Seeing this, and the other fantastic models you’ve posted on this forum, I know you have the skills to attack a diorama base to fully show off these kits.

The only small critique would be that the shell casings are very clean. The unfired shells look spot on but I think the shell casings on the floor of the deck would have cordite residue or some discolouration after the shell has been fired. Humbly submitted for your consideration.

Thats a great looking build with a very realistic finish that shows the lovely detailing.

Lovely looking vehicle… It also cries out for a figure to show off its’ size!

As a reference for the discoloration @SamS was talking about this might help:

Michal this is a stunning model! Beautifully painted and weathered, very gritty finish.
I have to get one of these monsters -my favorite half track- I have two Famos from Tamiya but none with the 88.
Absolutely fantastic!

Dammit that’s a fine-looking model! I don’t favor Nazi equipment much, but this is one great looking build. Sand, or desert colored, AFVs lend themselves very nicely for weathering and chipping applications and Michal has captured the effect perfectly, well done!

Nice reference Erwin; to get that effect on my Charioteer, model, I roughed up the ends of the shell casing with a fine sandpaper and then applied black pastels:

Hopefully this will help Michal if he wishes to modify them.
