glue on the wood base to the cardboard base, then gorilla clear between glass and the blue card base and it’s all done, placed up out of the way to harden off, sealed in I can’t fiddle with it now it’s well and truly finished.

My dad built this in his younger days around the time it first came out. He could’ve used a case as my nan dusted it and broke off the mast and rigging!

I’ll be following this build closely. I’ve got one of these in the stash along with Revell’s later version. Personally I’ve always liked the "boxier,rugged"look of the earlier S-boats compared to the later versions. Funny thing, I’ve also liked the earlier “boxy” lookes of the Me-109E to the sleeker look of the later Me-109 F/Gs. Good luck with this build.

I did enjoy building the S boat, but my next build isn’t a Boat or a Battleship, but it does have a hull and turrets.
