If you are talking about the below scheme, it was called the Land Camouflage Scheme. The colors were Medium Gray (FS35237), Field Green (FS34095), and Flat Black (FS37038).
Kitech was sooo close, they got the Flat Black right, missed the FS number for the Field Green (097 vs. 095) and had the wrong gray altogether. For the Euro Scheme they were close, Euro Green FS34092 vs. Field Green FS34095.
Well, based on a previous Kitech mistake I would have agreed. Not that there are a lot of tooling choices when building a kit like this, so the assembly instructions are almost identical. But the sprues are different, Italeri used paint for the lenses on the optical head, Kitech uses clear parts and Italeri has a 1 piece main rotor, Kitech has a 3 piece rotor.
And mine is done.
A pretty easy build, and a surprisingly easy paint scheme. Mi-24V 0705, 331. vrl, 33. zVrL, Mini Tiger Meet, Kleine Brogel, September 7, 1998
Well the postwoman has been and left some goodies from Army Cast in the Czech Republic. An M3 Browning for my OH58D. The casting is really crisp on the parts and it has a brass two piece barrel and etch ammunition chute.
ok well I have had a busy weekend on the home front so not much modelling done but I did correct the colour of the seat covers and add the fire extinguisher. I have also started work on the engine bay
