A member of my local model club was given this ammo box for Christmas (with two bottles of wine inside) but we can’t ID what it originally carried.
It has the markings
M92 TS 1943
Thanks for any help

Loaded the image in Google Image Search. It tells me it’s a Canadian artillery ammo box from ca. 1943.
25lb shells?
Image search I tried just came up with one for sale on eBay and AI said .303 or 20mm, box is a bit big for either of those.
Canadian (?) 25pdr fuse (fuze) box ??

It’s a P60 box. It was standard for 25-pounder shells, but the same design was adapted to carry other ordnance, such as hand incendiary bombs or No. 68 grenades. All you had to do was change the packing arrangement inside. I have three very similar boxes that contained 60mm mortar rounds.

Hence the term:
I did not say they were the same at all.
the real question is: Was the anything not factual in what I posted, that actually added to what had been said?
