I read a biography about Hermann Goering and it said he had his own spy agency listening to communications, the employees dressed in Luftwaffe uniforms. Does anyone know more about this?
Who was he spying on…the Wehrmacht; the SS; Hitler? I think he secretly wanted to be Fuhrer! 
Hitler I am sure wanted none of his underlings to get too powerful, so he divided major tasks accordingly.
