How do you organize all your tools/supplies?

I have a specific space for everything and it goes right back there when I’m done with it. Make fun of me all you want but every tool is there when I reach for it.

Here is what I am seriously contemplating.

Put it to the left side of me and keep my work space as free of stuff as I can. Put a couple of shoe cubbies on the wall above the work table.
