The agitator balls are vital to the paint shaker process. Also, when paint gets that thick, some polymerization has occurred. You may be able to redisperse the pigment and binder, but the performance of the paint may suffer, both through the airbrush and on the surface. It’s not a bad idea to strain such paint through a fine mesh before spraying. Spraying a test on scrap may also save some frustration.

When paint gets that thick and suspect, dropping $4 on a new bottle of paint saves a LOT of aggravation!
