Not yet, but do we NEED another Sherman…? I for one, would like to see sumthin different…I know, I know, people wouldn’t buy an “oddity” unfortunately, which is a shame because there are some nifty vehicles out there…take the XM800W Lockheed’s unconventional articulated 6 × 6 wheeled armored car…so cool…!

Wasn’t there also an 8x8?

No one has actually done an IDF HVSS Super Sherman before so while it is another Sherman, it is something new. Tamiya’s kit is of course VVSS.

Actually nice to see they finally got around to doing it. They’ve had the data since like forever… even before they did the merkava kits.

Now only if it was in 1/16th. scale.

As a matter of fact, the M4A1E8 is perfect to depict a famous scene during the Portuguese operations of November 25th 1975, at the end of the revolutionary period.

I would love a 1/35 model of this Mercedes (220 S ??).

I for one welcome this Sherman. I truly hope that Takom (or anyone else) would produce a new Israeli M50 Super Sherman (1/35th). I believe that with Takom offering this new M51 that either they will produce a new M50 or a M51 or both. But definitely a new M50 is greatly needed.

I’ll let the aftermarket help along the M50/M51 kits I already have in the stash…but I do admit, theTakom versions look to be nice.

Yes… The old Dragon is out of production for long time.
I found a VERY old resin M-50 kit on eBay and I’m going to try to copy the turret to make other M-50s. Maybe after this TAKON release, I’m hopeful to see a good injection molded M-50 kit.
