IDF Diorama

Thanks for that info, those are some great looking ropes and cables!!

While I am painting the figures, and they have to dry each time… I have started another M3, this will be the ‘simple’ version:

and it will most likely end up packed with stowage and figures… it is my entry for the IDF 75 campaign

Well, I am on nr 13 now: 2x Shermans, 1x M10 Achilles, 2x M3 halftracks (just started on nr3), 3x trucks, 2x 4x4 Dodges, 1x AMX 13l and 1x wreck… and am planning on another few…

The first idea was this, a full packed winding road in between hills, the tanks on top of the hills:

But now I am more thinking of this, two roads coming together, a truck with engine failure, therefore both roads getting blocked, still winding in between tank covered hills…

because the pictures that gave me the idea really showed a completely packed road and empty desert on each side…

Woof! I assume the Mrs. will allow you to commandeer her curio cabinet when you’re done, right? Good luck with that one, HA! I had to build my own cabinet, no arguments after that, lol.

So the M3, haven’t posted much of it here, so time to catch up…

it is well on its way, I have started to load her up with stowage…

And those who know this model will have noticed I have altered the interior of the rear… as I have a couple of these built, I have loads of spare parts to change anything I like…

Thanks everyone, and @Cheyenne : yes, this is that set of AC figures.

@bwilt what paints did you use to for the paratroopers?

Hi @Gregory_J_Copplin sorry for taking a while to answer your question, but I used Tamiya paints XF21 as the base coat, than XF64 and XF70 for the camouflage, XF76 for the inside of the colar and sleeves, XF55 for their webbing, and a mix of XF9 and XF92 for their boots.
