Thank you sir

I am trying to make something out of it

Outstanding work Guilbert! Any idea why the front fenders were made so long? I know nothing about this truck but it looks very cool!

Mack dm series are distinguished by several features

2 of the most particular features are the front axle over hang of the cabin and itโ€™s offset by 11.5 inches

These are the main distinguishing details of the DM series

Luckily there was a base kit to start with in 1/34 scale

I am trying my best to make the most of it

@Guilbert, very nice build! Regarding the cab off-set, legend has it that the cab was off-set to the left in order to improve driver visibility when backing up or when passing other vehicles. I donโ€™t know why the fender wells are so long - hopefully wheel travel is only going up and down - back and forth would not be good -

Cheers
Nick

True and true

Over hang allows more airflow to an engine
Also some engines are longer and bigger than others

Mack truck dm series offer a wide range or bonnet and engine sizes hens the reason for nose bonnets

And the offset plays a major role for the operator visibility frontward and rearward

Outstanding building, one of my favourite in the heavy hauling so far.
