Good looking bulldog !
Fantastic job sofar, canโt wait to see it with a load and a base.
Thank you sir
I am trying to make something out of it

Outstanding work Guilbert! Any idea why the front fenders were made so long? I know nothing about this truck but it looks very cool!
Mack dm series are distinguished by several features
2 of the most particular features are the front axle over hang of the cabin and itโs offset by 11.5 inches
These are the main distinguishing details of the DM series
Luckily there was a base kit to start with in 1/34 scale
I am trying my best to make the most of it

@Guilbert, very nice build! Regarding the cab off-set, legend has it that the cab was off-set to the left in order to improve driver visibility when backing up or when passing other vehicles. I donโt know why the fender wells are so long - hopefully wheel travel is only going up and down - back and forth would not be good -
Cheers
Nick
Looking great keep it up.

True and true
Over hang allows more airflow to an engine
Also some engines are longer and bigger than others
Mack truck dm series offer a wide range or bonnet and engine sizes hens the reason for nose bonnets
And the offset plays a major role for the operator visibility frontward and rearward

Outstanding building, one of my favourite in the heavy hauling so far.
