Items sticking to bottom of the resin tank during printing process?

I have run my Saturn S three times now for printing. The first time using a test program and everything works as it was supposed to. The second attempt was a complete crash and burn where all items (1/35 fuel and water cans)stuck to the bottom of the tank early in the process and subsequently did not print after the first few layers. The third attempt had some items (Warhammer figures stuff) print properly, some come out soft in areas, and some also break off and stick to the bottom of the resin tank, printing only a few layers. What causes the items to stick to the bottom of the tank? And how can that be avoided?

I had this issue for a while as well. I found it was the build plate not level and not pushing down hard enough into the vat. Look up how to level your plate and make sure it has enough pressure on it. It was an easy fix on mine (Elegoo Mars 5 Ultra) and should be on yours as well.

Leveling is one very important thing and another is the ‘Burn in Layers’. Play a little with them. These are the first layers, let them get more exposure time, so they stuck better to the plate

Thanks guys. I’ll repeat the leveling zero process.

How do you adjust the burn time?

In your slicer programm. I use Lychee, there it is under the Resin adjustments.

You know, you have to adjust the Resin and your printer in the slicer settings?

Just look for yt tutorials on your slicer….

Ah, and do not forget to clean the vat and filter the Resin, after each missprint…
