Well I finally began a search to find a new forum. The one I belonged to for years and years I can’t even log into anymore. Generally I seek out the armor and helicopter forums to follow along or ask questions. My interest is mainly US artillery but unfortunately have run out of kits to build. Waiting on an M777.

Hi @GlennRH. Welcome to you from a recent joinee (joiner? Joinerologist? Joinerama? Joinist?) who is very much enjoying this space. I’m hoping to contribute a build log once my removals stuff gets here, and looking forward to seeing some of yours. You noted you’re into air and armour, but any specific era or just in general?
Mostly artillery US. But I’ve pretty much run out of items to make in that regard.

Welcome Glen. I’m also an old cannon cocker and build mostly US arty. I’ve had to become very comfortable with cast and 3D printed resin to build out my US arty collection. That Vargas M777 is a decent kit. I won 1st place in artillery at the Omaha Nats with it. I’m currently building the I Love Kit M53 155mm SP Gun. Looking forward to seeing some of your builds.

Thanks! Not long ago I did an 155 SP, probably AFV club. I had run out of towed pieces and had read that my first unit 1/5 went from towed to this. I think I may have saw pics of your build today when I was searching around for that M777. (Oops, realized I posted wrong pic. Sorry 1/5 )
