Looking very good.
Looking great.
Graçias José. I am always happy when people appreciate what I do…
After painting and adding one rather bored looking Soldat/ Fahrer (this came with the Zvezda kit), I declare this Mercedes L-4500 finished. Number 6. 4 more vehicles to go (I think)…
I like that pose.
Hi Erwin,
Excellent looking truck, and, as Jerry says, a great looking pose on your figure, both are brilliant, .

Thanks my friends!
Yes it is rather different and a nice move from Zvezda. The details reminds me of the older Tamiya kits.
Very cool Erwin looks great !!
Thanks Glenn
Karls’ driver is also done. This Gefreiter needed quite some adjustments to the lower parts to fit. Figure is from MiniArt. I must say that the facial detail is rather good for a plastic fig…
The fig in the office.
Taking some distance. Not bad, eh?
Hi Erwin,
Your driver really gives the impression of deep concentration, which I guess I would if I was trying to manoeuvre that beast,
. Like the subtle dusting on the front of the vehicle too, excellent work,

Cheers. Steering such a behemoth would certainly be no small feat. And I doubt power steering is in place. Glad you like my handy work. I figured that, since it traveled slung between two carriers for several hundreds of kilometers, it would be a bit dusty.
Awesome, the crew is coming alive!
Hi Erwin,
Guess an influencer will be when your diorama is set season-wise, as the Trumpeter figures are in shirt sleeves, so definitely summertime, early autumn.

The dio plays in Warsaw, 17 august 1944. The dat Zui entered Warsaw. So in the summer. But in the morning, things can still be quite nippy for one, while the other, working a bit harder, can be quite comfy in shirt sleeves.
Hi Erwin,
I have never bought Trumpeter kits, so not sure how their figures compare with Miniart, but if they’re reasonable I’d go for the Trumpeter ones, .

Just looked up the weather data for that day… Though Poland seems non existand, eastern Germany (close enough) had a night temp of 15 degrees Celsius and a daytime max of 31 degrees Celsius.
The driver is from the MiniArt set. I will assemble the guy with the tarp one of these days, so we can compare them…
Just glued one of the Trumpeter figs together, and it is not bad for a plastic fig.
Arms, head and cap are keyed to aid assembly and this works rather well.
Hands could be better defined., though…
Hi Erwin,
The Trumpeter figure looks fine, the ears appear to be more realistic than some plastic figures, but shame about the hands, will you be able to better define them, .
