I decided for a change of pace to start on a plane w the lofty goal of having it ready by Sept 15 for the local clubs show. Revels 1/48th A-10. Strictly out of the box, no mods, no PE no scratch built details. Correction, I will swap out an outboard station w a cpl of Sidewinders since that was pretty common in ODS. So I’ve been trying to work on the gaps on the wings and engine nacelles so filling, sanding, priming and correcting some more. Nice simple two tone grey scheme with very light weathering just to break things up. If I finish in time I’ll enter it in the strictly stock aircraft category and see what happens.

So I struck out on the GPA, but pulled out a shelf queen Tamiya Wildcat with the hopes of painting both birds at the same time and to that end finished up assembling the landing gear for the 1/48 version.
