Ahoy, landlubbers.
My stash has grown again.
My finger twitched, and the USS Iowa was in my shopping cart.
What the heck, I thought, it’s just money. 
I now have all the most important battleships in my shipyard. The most famous, although that’s a matter of opinion, the Bismarck. The largest, the Yamato, and now the longest, the Iowa.
I hope I’ll live long enough to finish all my big ships.

Latest release from Black Cat, Captain classed Frigate, the Evarts version, something I have hopped would come along. Mine arrived in the post today. Resin cast hull and major superstructure components, the bulk of the rest of the kit 3D printed, also included one large and one small etched fret and three turned brass parts for the mast. The kit and the hull and all the other resin castings are very clean and crisp.
Usual very clear and comprehensive instructions also included.

Looks good. They have a lot of good kits but they are so expensive by the time they get over here to the US.
I had this one arrive today from the Ukraine. I plan on building it for the Torpedo Away! campaign.

Added this one over the holidays
Just my third ship. My understanding is that the gun layout on this one isn’t accurate in that the Flak 43 in the wintergarten and the 10.5 cm deck gun were rarely used together. That’s okay, I am going to do U-161 which from reports I read had a Quad Flak 38 and two single 3.7 cm guns in the wintergarten and the deck gun
