Did any M114’s come with the .50 cal and shields like on an M113 ACAV?
Yes, early M114s came with an M551-style cupola and .50 cal mount. Shields could be fitted as well.
Takom also has an early M114A1 model.
And an early/late M114 combo kit with interior.

I’m loving this!!
I was in Baumholder where 2nd Brigade of the 8th ID was stationed, along with Division Artillery. Included in the Order of Battle for 2nd Brigade (along with two other Infantry Battalions, and two Armor Battalions) was 1st Battalion, 13th Infantry.
This vehicle is marked as being from 2nd Battalion, 13th Infantry, which would mean that it is a part of 3rd Brigade of the 8th ID and would have been stationed at Coleman Barracks, Sandhofen, which is a suburb of Mannheim.
