G’day Team, been a while, but happy to say my Aussie M1A2 SEP V3 is almost ready for sale.
It’s been 16 years since I did an Abrams, so about time I got back into it.
This 3D printed update/conversion is for the RFM #5104 kit.
It covers the changes Australia has made to our version of the V3 from arrival, until todays date.
It will also cover a lot of the parts for the Polish V3 and some parts for the US version.
I will post up more images once the build is done.
Hello Jason,
I have the Academy, sorry it’s not RFM, M1A2. It is what I could afford. I would be interested in the parts that would pertain to the Polish M1A2 Sep 3. I know little about Abrams subtleties. I plan to build mine as a Polish M1A2. I have an Academy Polish K2 to go with it.
Would you think of doing a Combat Dozer Blade for the M1A2’s? Not sure if the Poles have any fitted but sure would look grand on one.
Yes mate. I didn’t really see the need for a “shake and bake” kit. It’s not what I do.
At the time, it looked like it was going to be an easy kit. But no.
But as usual, if more info comes to light or we add something new, the kit will be updated as needed.
The moulded on parts are the issue with that kit. Short of some tricky surgery to remove the said moulded on parts (that needed to be removed and replaced), the soft detail on some parts, missing parts, and oversized parts, it just wasn’t a good kit for this job.
