My son works in Portland and its almost that price.

You can finally pump your own gas there again. It should have reduced the price but it didn’t.

Lots of taxes in the price I imagine.

Why do they use such an advanced tank for OPFOR? Would it not have more value serving with an Armor unit? Questions of my life…

Maybe to keep the crews familiar on the latest equipment?

It is an armor unit. The US Army OPFOR at the NTC (Ft Irwin, CA), where these vehicles are, is the 11 ACR. They do/did deploy on occasion. They deployed to Iraq in '05 for 15mos, I think once again later too.

Looking for pics to confirm my theory that the rear of the turret of the SEP v3 has the tie downs etc deleted & is smooth.

Here’s what it looks like on an Australian M1, the upright near the fridge:

Yes, I think so:

Some more pre-delivery pics of Australian SEP v3s have made their way into the public domain.

I’m looking for clearer pics of the rear towing point mount on the v3. Looks like it’s flush with the exhaust deflector?

Haven’t detailed mine yet, but have to choose between the long or short one. Thoughts?

Best I can do at the moment. YOu’ll probably find better ones on the internet.

Thanks for that.

Looks like there’s two versions of what I call the “figure 8” recovery points.

Separate, like your pic, & joined, like in my pic. Just like earlobes, I guess.

Here’s another with an inboard view:
