@Panzer_modeler Ezra,
Is this the type of wheel your looking for? I think they are from or for a Tasca Sherman. I think there are 14 wheels.
If you want them they are yours.

Yes they are Wade! Thank you!
Ill try tomorrow!
One quick question before I decide what Sherman kit to buy, what would a suitable base kit for the build be? Would the Italeri M4a1 76mm be an ok kit?
This is the only kit I can find for sale under $50. Im aware the details are horrid but I can try to detail it like my M4a3 Calliope. Although if anyone else wants to sell/ knows where I can find a better M4a1 kit Im open to suggestions. My ideal kits would be the Taska or Dragon kits, but anything would work.
Would this be suitable for the turret for the Grizz?
Sorry Ezra, that’s a “large hatch” late M4A1, you need an early or mid “small hatch” M4A1. I have a Dragon M4A1 Early still in the shrink wrap that I will send you ABSOLUTELY FREE if you are building this Grizzly. I really want to see you do up this tank. Just PM me.
My jaw dropped when I read this Matt that is a very generous offer but I cant just take it, I bet we can work something out. I really want to do this Grizz as I wanted to do a bit of obscure Canadian armor this year, plus its a really rare subject!
Amazing offer! Love to see people helping each other out here.
Another place is EBay just have to be careful. I bought my Tasca firefly off EBay for $50 Canadian a year or so ago
Okay Ezra I just got back from the PO, your M4A1 kit is on it’s way, free of charge. I’ve PM’d you the tracking number. Enjoy the build! You’re a fantastic modeler, young man!
Thank you Matt!
Super generous offer man! I’m impressed, good on you!
Thank you. If I can do a good turn for a fellow modeler on this site, I always do. Every once in a while, I get to make someone’s day, and when it’s a young modeler, it’s even better.
Your to kind Matt!
I just placed my order for the Friulmodels CDP tracks from Sprue Brothers, I should have it in a few days.
What are you doing the represent the Canadian design of VVSS?
Im fairly sure I can get aftermarket resin bogies, but if not I can try scratch building them.
Edit: Really the only difference I see is the Canadian Bogies have more prominent strengthening ribs vertically. Shouldn’t be that hard to do.
Resicast do two differend versions of Canadian bogies.
I am sure you will like them,
All the best
Leon
Welcome! I’ll be sure to check them out!
