You really covered all the bases, and you did it very well. Outstanding model.
It was a fun build, for all of us! Lol. It really was fun and interesting, everyone giving their input from real life and modeling experiences
Thanks very much Matthew. Very generous comments.
Hi James, yes I got alot of support, opinions and ideas on this build. You are a great bunch out there and the “it takes a village to raise a child” effect was a really nice experience.
Onto my next project; Ive got to get the lumber dimensions for an M813 with a TPS on the back!
Your M577A2 looks very nice. Lots of good detail and some really good input from former crew members helping you get the details tweeked resulting in a really nice model. I think that is one of the strengths of this site - people sharing their real life experiences or modeling techniques, or both, to help other modelers in a positive way. I have a couple of M577s in the works and seeing your progress on this project is giving me the inspiration to get back to work on them after I finish the diorama I am currently working on.
Thanks James, I just need to try and weather the trash bags. The antennae are the correct color now.
It’s great that my build inspired you to get back to your M577. One day maybe the M1068 and the ambulance version of the M577 for me.
Cheers
