the tractor is the M818. M816 is the wrecker, and the M817 is the Dump truck…
Thanks Joey.
BTW Any info on the M365 dolly being used, and in what roles during ODS?
I would order at Mikey s If it s available
Re the pump unit, I have 2 manufacturer’s instruction sheets, the PSM one is not great but the cz one is better, it does a better job of showing individual parts and placement. There are loads of pics on the web, plus someone has posted a tm for the unit.
I’d be happy to see it and the 2x 600 gallon tanks added to your product list! Plus a third tank was used, mounted on a trailer.
Question re the pump A frame. The outside sections each have 2 small square pin-type attachment points at the bottom, there are no locating holes for these on the pump platform and this 1) seems odd and 2) will result in very small (weak) contact points for the frame to mount to the platform.
Ive got numerous pics of the pump unit, but none show a visible gap between the outside section and the platform.
Any ideas on whether these square contact points are real, or not?
Do you mean the 600 gallon tanks, or the dolly trailer?
Another step forward. Mounted the d/s hose reel, filter and other fittings. On tomorrow with the other side. Very fragile, soft resin used by PSM, angled sections break off easily.
Did you send me the TM for the TPU?
I had uploaded it to wetransfer and shared the link
Apologies Nikos, it expired. Can you send to me please?
I will dm you a new link later today
Link and about 30 photos for anyone who might be interested:
Many thanks Nikos!
Another step forward. Managed to get the creases out of the tanks. Both hosereels, filter and pump in place. Just started on the connecting hoses and couplings.
All 4 hoses on the hosereel unit in place now. Fun getting the last one in place. Still got the fuel dispensers to build onto the hosereels plus numerous PE and small fittings. The 600 gallon tanks need more work but it’s all heading in the right direction.
Small steps ATM due to seasonal issues. The hose and pump dispenser is in place on on side, as are the guide frames for both sides. To continue later in the week.
The pump unit is looking good.
Thanks Gino. Mikey Bugs is shipping the revised M813 set up to me, should be here mid-next week or so. Based on this I’m taking it easy on this build. ( Need to paint the cab and box in tri tone before I mount and paint the tanks).
Yup, I ordered one too. Can’t wait to see how it turns out.
Me too, my mini-stash of AFV Club M54 is waiting!
