I’m very close myself. Might be done before the ball drops….
Got this far and thought I could finish the assembly. Still would need to add decals and do some weathering, but then I remembered I have this to do to finish the barrel.
includes folding PE and adding a couple of bolt heads. I don’t think I’m up for that late at night….
Keep going boys; you’re almost at the finish line. Go go go!
I really like the finish you have achieved on this.
Hello everyone,
I am calling my BA-10 done. This Hobby Boss kit has nice details and I had no issues during assembly. Here are some photos of the finished model.
Thanks Phil for the extra time.
Happy New Year for all!
I really like that. Very well done.
That BA-10 looks superb!
Congrats to the BA-10, it looks great, indeed! You have nailed it!
Tomas, beautiful job on the faded and dusty look. Congrats on finishing! ![]()
Hi everybody and Happy New Year! The SU-122-54 is finished:
Phil, thanks a lot for the extension - I needed it for the Friul tracks and I’m very glad I decided to go with them instead. They were easy to assemble, stayed together during the weathering process and hang just right.
This SU-122-54 model looks really cool! Congrats for the build and for completing the campaign, too.
I agree. It looks Superb !!! Congrats on finishing it.
Thanks a lot, Tamas!
Thank you, Nito!
Trumpeter KV-1
Tracks on and oil paining done. I need to fix one minor boo boo, complete some minor touch up painting, and clear coat.
Edit (January 10, 2026): The last of the touch up painting is done. The small problem is fixed. I will clear coat on Sunday and post pictures.
I am very sorry for the delay in finishing. I have not had much time as most of it was spent with family and even then the spare time went to other things. I need to mask, paint, and weather the heli and when I’m finished I’ll upload it in this group.
cheers
Superb.
Finally I can call this one finished. Well, the base truck is.
The load bed will be populated by figures, boxes and the like. Also a Russian field kitchen will be in tow.
Am I content with the results? No, not really. The kit fought me every step. As a result the cabin is crooked and the wheels are not all touching the ground. Amongst others. I won’t mention the smudge on the windscreen.
There were several moments when I was on the brink of giving the kit flying lessons, but I persevered.
Dust and mud will be added when going into a diorama, which will also take care of the wheels.
Now for the pics…
Finished: Trumpeter KV-1
Thank you again for the deadline extension. This is my first Russian tank in any scale.
