Hi! I started this model a long time ago, but decided to take it from the shelf. Base kit is Takom Merkava 2B with some Legend aftermarket sets- battering ram, bottom armor, rear towing horns, hull baskets and “droid” on turret. All steel wheels come from PanzerArt, tracks from Friulmodel. Various antenaas on the turret are from Desert Eagle Publishing. Today Merkava recived antislip texture on the hull, covered by primer.
Very nice… Specially with the applique armor, APS antenna and the battering ram. I have the exact same kit in the stash, Your build gives me some very nice ideas.
Thank You. It was a lot of work with these resin sets, especially with the “Droid”, I buy two sets, first one I thrown to trash bin
Looking great
This is a masterpiece!!!
Thank You, I’m glad You like it
Nice!! Glad to put it back on your bench. This definitely needs a place behind the glass.
That is absolutely sumptuous. Damn. I’d LOVE to be that good. Amazing work.
It looks impressive.
Cheers,
Ralph
I apply some sand grey mixed with white on the details on the upper hull, i need to paint rear towing chain, then hull will be ready to apply decals and weathering.
That is some wonderful anti slip. What product did you use?
I used Hull Tex from VMS. Fantastic product.
Very nice start on the painting. You were right to remove it from the shelf.

Thank You, I will try to do my best
Hi! Anti slip texture on the turret is finished, turret recived Vallejo primer and is ready to painting stage.
Hi! Some progres of painting the turret. I started paint and retouch the details. I also want to add the canvas on the turret basket, so the next step will be the play with green stuff
Wow that looks fantastic.
Cheers,
Ralph
You do not have to add it if you want, there are photos of vehicles without the cover
Looking forward to more progress
Thank You. Yes, the cover is not necessary, but I think it will be better corresspond with the covered hull baskets I don’t want to cover all basket, but only maybe a half, on the other half the canvas will be rolled up.
