The absence of pretty much anything is acceptable… but there’s one thing that is tantamount to screwing somebody’s pooch, and that’s the absence of recovery chains and/or towing cables on an IDF AFV.
I saw pictures without so didn’t put towi cable.

Really needs the ball and chain. Tow cable chains etc. cause even in dry storage those things are on it.

Yes, but these are brand new tanks leaving factory, other equipment will be add later. Your model is already weathered, so its no brand new

I’m not arguing that the customer didn’t ask for it, just wondering why they did. A weathered vehicle implies usage and would also be equipped wouldn’t it?
That’s a mantra that needs busting if ever there was one.

but many customers behave as if it is valid.
Regardless, if our customers think they’re going to take the piss, we just tell them no.

Maintenance. Is the only explanation. Bottom pic is a fresh paint job. Top pic shows some broken chain on the turret and it’s in the base maintenance area so… it wouldn’t be in the field without that gear
