What time scale would this fit into? 1940s?

My inner eye keeps seeing a guy with hands and feet tied,
standing in a large bucket while the concrete is being mixed …

Hmmm; I might use these to augment my “RMP Berlin 1961” project - though I have the cement mixer already as a sort of background prop. On the other hand, there’s a danger of it all getting too busy, however, good effort by Miniart.

I see where you’re going with this… As the Berlin Wall goes up on the East Berlin Sector; RMP officers keep a watchful eye, while East German Border Guards keep a close eye on the British.

Those were such different times back then…

From L to R; West German Border Police, US Army Military Police, British ROyal Military Police, French Gendarmerie.

Spot on Reynier; it’ll be set on the morning of Sunday 13 August, the wall having literally been thrown up overnight. See below:

You can imagine the confusion of the allied powers when out of the blue, you see this.

As I refer to on my thread, it’s simply amazing that the western powers mis-interpreted it all, but as I say, it was August, most of the western military world are on leave, it’s a weekend, so the garrisons will be enjoying life in a hedonistic western capital, and even the military mission, BRIXMIS, usually no one’s fools, thought it was all evidence of an East German building initiative. Well it was! A bloody great wall!
