Model Show with a Difference

I have just returned from exhibiting my small-scale collection at a two-day model show in North Devon. The venue was RHS Rosemoor Gardens, near Torrington. As its name suggests, Rosemoor is a Royal Horticultural Society Centre, and this was the first time they have staged a model show as part of their weekend itinerary. There were a number of exhibitors present, showcasing a wide range of themes: military vehicles, aircraft, ships, railways, cars and sci-fi. A thoroughly enjoyable experience … looking forward to returning next year. For those who are interested, the show is due to take place on the last weekend in July 2026.

Which event was it? Did you enjoy it?
I’m really curious about these kinds of shows — must be amazing to see so many models up close!

Pitar,

This was a show staged at RHS Rosemoor in North Devon. It was the first time they had held such an event at the venue, and it was a huge success. It will be repeated next year (the last weekend in July).

Thanks for your reply.
How many people are participating approximately? Can you give me a website or their social media account?
I’m very interested in this.

Pitar,

This year’s model show at RHS Rosemoor was the first staged there. It was so successful that another is planned next year. There were around 20 displays, but I guess next year will see more exhibitors. I am unable to provide you with contact details of those who attended, but you can enquire about next year’s show by phoning RHS Rosemoor (ask to speak to Carrieann Moor).
